Ughhhh this book🤌
The tension. The angst. The suspense. It’s everything I need. The book is so beautiful, I don’t think I want the book to ever end, luckily it’s a trilogy I have 2 more books to dwell in this world.
Serene have a fiancé and a job she love. Everything is perfect until she’s obsessed about a photograph and her dream. One night, she time traveled back to year 1912. There’s a man called Etienne, the same man from photograph who claimed he’s her husband but somehow they can’t stand each other. Serene believe Etienne can help her, so she tried to convince him she’s not his wife and they slowly become friends.
I just simply love this book. It’s not hard to follow through the story and the words just seamlessly fly through. I love the tension between the mcs and how they just can’t help to fall for each other especially Etienne when he realized she’s really not his wife.

I took 5 days leave from work! It’s kinda overdue actually. I haven’t taken any annual leave this year except for Eid celebration last month🥹 not even MC, i’m the ideal good worker 😂
So when things get too overwhelming, it’s okay to take a break. Don’t be so hard on yourself! Take that break, it’s your right. I also planned my tbr during my vacation. It worries me because it’s kind of hard for me to follow my planned tbr because i’m a mood reader (sigh) but I want to try. I’ll be gone from my home anyway, so hopefully i’m not distracted by other books….

The Surviving Trace — I’m most excited about reading this. If I remember, this book is about time travel. I’ve always love watching Outlander, I wanted to read their book but it has too many— around 8? 9? Jsjsjjs in that series lol so i’m settled with watching it instead. This one is a series too but only 3 of them so it’s not too many, I believe I can commit to it. I’ll post a review on my instagram once i’m done.
Twist me — this is a trilogy, around 600+ pages and i’ve been dragging myself to read it but also scared for the thickness lol. Thick books scares and excites me at the same time. The time has finally come, I’m gonna read this. Involved k!dnapping & Stockh0lm syndr0m3 if i’m not mistaken. Definitely dark and have lots of trigger warnings. Right on my alley! 🤪
Break— I’ve never heard about this author before, but my mutuals on bookstagram has me convinced. Dark romance for sure but involved dancing. I haven’t read so many romance involving dance before so i’m definitely intrigued.
So i’m not sure whether i’m gonna read just this 3 books but my historical romance might have some chances too, just been on my dark romance and paranormal train lately. Let me know if you planned your tbr or follow your mood like me :) until then, bye!
